Blessing Box Project
What is it?
The Blessing Box Project was created to help provide food and everyday essentials to families in need throughout the community. Taysha Souza personally purchases the supplies, builds each blessing box, paints delivers, installs, and stocks them with food and necessities, and regularly refills them to ensure they continue serving those who need them most. Having been on multiple mission trips and by living in a foreign country, she has witnessed firsthand the challenges many families face in accessing basic necessities. Those experiences inspired her to take action in her own community by creating a simple, accessible way for people to receive help while also encouraging others to give what they can. The blessing box moto is "Take what you can, give what you need." Through each blessing box, Taysha hopes to share kindness, hope, and the love of Christ one family at a time.
Blessing Box to the World
As the Blessing Box Project continues to grow, Taysha's vision is to expand its impact by placing additional blessing boxes in more communities and partnering with local businesses, churches, schools, and community members to help keep them stocked. She hopes to inspire others to start similar projects in their own neighborhoods, creating a ripple effect of generosity and compassion. By increasing access to food and essential items while encouraging community involvement, the project can reach more families in need and continue sharing hope, kindness, and the love of Christ with every box placed.
