Mission in the Dominican Republic

At the end of March 2024 Taysha Souza had the incredible opportunity to go on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic! Together with her school North Cobb Christian School and in partnership with Time Missions who took great care of all the young people who were with her! The entire team was wonderful and she had so much fun! Taysha has had the opportunity to build a chapel and spend time with children and serve others in so many different ways!

For Taysha, one of the amazing things she did was hang out with the kids on the Team Missions sports field! "I couldn't be more grateful for this! As soon as we got off the bus, kids came up to us and hugged us! I loved being able to learn more Spanish with the kids, but also being able to teach them some English."

Taysha says that on the second day, on the way to the court, it started raining heavily, but they didn't let that stop them! For her every moment was precious, from the bus to the court, she was jumping through puddles with the girls. On this day she had the incredible opportunity to share her testimony with the children!

Taysha is so thankful to the Lord for the way he placed her in the Dominican Republic for a reason. The kids may have learned a lot, but she also learned a lot! All praise and glory be to the Lord!
